Last December in Tel Aviv, dozens of doctors and scientists, including the directors of medical facilities and health funds from throughout the nation, attended L’maanchem’s medical innovation conference.
The attendees were given a thorough overview of the most recent technical breakthroughs in the realm of health, as well as the complicated issues that the world of medicine faces.
Prof. Eugen B. Hug, a world-renowned specialist and one of the pioneers of proton radiation treatment, delivered the conference’s keynote address.
He informed the senior medical community, while praising Israel’s achievements in his sector, “Scientists, physicists, and accelerators are joining us and assisting us in developing this technology.
You are one step closer to helping people.”
Businessman Beny Steinmetz, chairman of Friends of L’maanchem, stated that L’maanchem serves as a link between the worlds of medical expertise and patient support.
Prof. Dan Shechtman, Shin Bet director Ronen Bar, and Prof. Yitshak Kreiss, head of the Sheba Tel Hashomer Medical Center, all attended the occasion.
